York Wallcoverings

Pennsylvania · Est. 1895

American designer wallcoverings — the country's oldest wallpaper company, and the widest designer roster.

The House

York is the oldest and largest wallpaper manufacturer in the United States, and the publisher of some of the country's most-requested designer lines — Antonina Vella, Candice Olson, Ronald Redding.

Founded in York, Pennsylvania in 1895, the company still prints from its original 1930s mill. It has grown into a family of imprints — each led by a well-known American designer.

The Ronald Redding line is the house's flagship: architectural, refined, drawing on the American East-Coast decorative tradition. Antonina Vella brings Italian modernism; Candice Olson brings glamour and graphic pattern.

For us, York is the workhorse of the American library — a house whose depth of catalogue and reliable lead times let us serve residential projects across every taste and budget.
